Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest mountain—whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. The wildlife here includes buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and other plain animals such as gazelles, dik-diks and antelopes.

DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked up from a city hotel by your driver/guide who will transfer you to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. You will then depart Wilson Airport. Upon arrival at the Amboseli Airstrip, you will be met at the airstrip and transferred with an en-route game drive to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drives will follow. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Oltukai Lodge or a similar place.

DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will go for an early morning game drive in Amboseli Park. Weather permitting you will be able to view animals with the bewildering spectacle of Mt. Kilimanjaro forming a backdrop. Early morning has the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend time at leisure before Lunch. Another late afternoon game drive till late in the evening. Return to Lodge.

Overnight at Oltukai Lodge.

DAY 3: AMBOSELI – NAIROBI

You will have an early morning Game drive when predators are active, and later on return to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Thus, ending this wonderful safari with us.
