DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi / Tsavo West National Park
You will depart Nairobi with the 08:00 morning train for Mtito Andei where upon arrival, you will be picked up by your driver guide and transferred to the lodge. You will then check in and have a rest as you enjoy the lodges’ facilities and later on have your lunch. After lunch, you will have a short rest before departing for your afternoon game drive in the park in search of wild animals. Later on, go back to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge
Day 2: Tsavo West / Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Tsavo West (Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge) for Amboseli National Park (Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge). Upon arrival, you will check in, have your lunch and a short rest, before going for your afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. If weather permits, you will also get a chance to see Mt. Kilimanjaro at its finest.
Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Day 3: Amboseli National Park
On this day, you will have your breakfast before going for a game drive. During your game drive, you will have a chance of seeing animals like the African elephant, African buffalo, impalas, lion, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals, among the animals the park is more famous for habiting a large population of elephants. Amboseli park is also a home to a number of birds estimated to be 400 species which include African swamp hen, Common redshank, Dickinson’s kestrel, Eurasian thick-knee, Greater flamingo, Hartlaub’s bustard, Lesser flamingo, Long-toed lapwing, Pangani longclaw, Rufous chatterer, Rufous-bellied heron, Spike-heeled lark, Steel-blue whydah, Taveta golden weaver, Von der Decken’s hornbill, Yellow-necked spurfowl and many more. Later on go back to the lodge for your lunch and a short rest before going for an afternoon game drive in search of more wildlife and birds.
Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Day 4: Amboseli National Park / Nairobi
After your breakfast in the morning, you will leave the lodge with an en-route game drive to the train station for your train back to Nairobi. Thus, completing this wonderful safari with us.
