DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI / SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
You will be picked up from your hotel/airport in the morning and drive North to the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern frontier. Arrive in time for lunch and after lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, gravy zebra, Beisa Oryx & the blue necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country.

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Prepare yourself for an amazing region along the Ewaso Nyiro River; Samburu is home to some of Africa’s rarest game species. The river’s permanent waters abound with crocodile and hippo and attract plenty of wildlife including the shy Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, the long-necked gerenuk antelope and the Somali ostrich. Cheetah, Leopard and lion are also found in the reserve too. You will spend your morning game viewing which commences morning after breakfast when the
animals are most active. Get ready for photo shooting and coverage as your game spotter leads you in search of the animals and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to photograph your sightings. Retire to the lodge for lunch and relax. In the evening, go forth on additional game viewing. Overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 3: SAMBURU / ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK
Early morning game drive at Samburu game reserve and back to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast we start another jouney to the Aberdare Region. Arrive at lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure in the lodge.

DAY 4: ABERDARES / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Depart from Aberdare to Nakuru National Park with en route views of Lake Elementaita before arriving at your destination, Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored sparkling flamingo pink, from thousands of the attractive birds lining its shores. The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. On arrival relax and rest at the lodge.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU / MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast drive to Masai Mara west and down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, you will then turnoff on the main road across the Great Rift Valley and head towards Narok gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. You’ll travel across the “breakfast” of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley, before you reach your destination, Mara by lunchtime. After lunch enjoy free time till 1600hrs where you start your first game viewing drive in the reserve regarded as the most magnificent natural theatre in the world. Set in the heart of Africa’s Great Plains, the Maasai Mara boasts 1’672 square kilometres of unspoilt wilderness. It is home to the highest concentration of animals and birds anywhere on the continent Overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6 & 7: MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Early morning tea or coffee and thereafter enjoy a full day in the Mara with game drives included. It is a reserve of breath-taking vistas, panoramas of vast rolling plains, hills and woodland groves, well watered by the lovely Mara River, which bisects the Reserve from north to south. The Mara is home to the largest population of lions in Kenya, these magnificent beasts spending most of the day sleeping in the shade of acacia trees. Vast herds of buffalo, zebra and wild beast roam the plains. Impala, gazelle, giraffe and hartebeest grace the landscape, and the cautious topi may also seen standing sentinel on earth mounds on constant lookout of predators. The waters of the Mara River are home to crocodiles and pools of hippo, the acacia woodlands and riverine forests favoured by leopard and elephant, and the open savanna and dry bush areas play host to the plains game and their attendant predators such as lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal.

DAY 8: MAASA MARA / LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast, leave for Naivasha. On arrival at your lodge, have lunch & freshen up & spend the rest of the evening at leisure with an optional boat ride in the evening –at an extra cost or have a walk by the lake. You can as well enjoy swimming or relaxing at the facility as you enjoy the memories of the safari so
far.

DAY 9: LAKE NAIVASHA / AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Depart Naivasha after breakfast and drive south towards Amboseli National Park, with a game drive enroute, and where dust devils swirl around the edges. In the heart of the park is an amazing swamp fed by underground springs from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro which attracts elephants and hippos in abundance. Amboseli is justly famous both for its big game – elephants,
which are the most studied in the world. Living beside the most celebrated culture in the world- the Maasai, lions and cheetahs. You will arrive in time for Lunch at your Luxury Lodge. Lunch and relax at leisure followed by an afternoon game drive in the park till late in the evening when you return to your Lodge.

DAY 10: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
A day of game drives in this park, which dust devils swirl around the edges. Have an early morning game drive at Amboseli National Park. Early morning has the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the peak. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend time at leisure before Lunch. Afternoon game drive till late in the evening. Return to your lodge.

DAY 11: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK / NAIROBI
Early morning game drive at Amboseli National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast & depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. The driver will drop you at your hotel for an overnight stay or at the airport for your flight back home, thus
ending the wonderful safari.
