Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest mountain—whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. The wildlife here includes buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and other plain animals such as gazelles, dik-diks and antelopes.
DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI / AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
You will depart Wilson Airport in the morning with your scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park where upon arrival, you will be met at the airstrip and depart with en-route game drive to the Lodge for check in and lunch. Afterward you will relax at leisure and later go for your afternoon game drive till evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight night.
Overnight at your Camp/Lodge.
DAY 2: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
You will go for an early morning game drive in Amboseli Park. Weather permitting you will be able to view animals with the bewildering spectacle of Mt. Kilimanjaro forming a backdrop. Early morning has the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend time at leisure before Lunch. Another late afternoon game drive till late in the evening. Return to Lodge.
Overnight at your Camp/Lodge.
DAY 3: AMBOSELI / NAIROBI
Early morning Game drive on sunrise when predators are active, and on return to the lodge, have breakfast awaiting your transfer to the airstrip with the last picturesque of the Amboseli park. Board your flight back to Nairobi arriving at Wilson airport.
