After breakfast at The Norfolk Hotel, Depart Nairobi to cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations. You will pass through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the central Kenya where you cross the Equator as you approach a grand Mt. Kenya, a latent volcano with a luminous cap of snow and ice, arriving in time for Lunch at Mt. Kenya safari Club.

The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard.
White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Once in the park, there will be a game drive en route to the lodge. On arrival relax and rest at the lodge.
|SAROVA LION HILL (ONE NIGHT)|
Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the Lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. A short two hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is a favourite with residents and visitors to Kenya.
Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is cleverly laid out such that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the Lake and the Park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. The Lodge is a natural haven for bird life and attracts over 50 species of birds amongst the 400 species that inhabit the Park.
Depart from Nakuru after breakfast and drive south via Narok to the Mara reserve, you will have a game drive en route to the luxurious tented camp upon arrival in the Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. The rest of the afternoons at leisure and in the early evening embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara.
Masai Mara has incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common.
The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October.
